Back to basics with a simple quilt-as-you-go log cabin, pieced straight on to batting and a crumb pieced backing.
Simple stuff for when creativity is at a low ebb but I need to stitch something.

A visit yesterday to @talbotricegallery in Edinburgh to the exhibition of the amazing work of El Anatsui. Monumental 'cloths' constructed from metal or wood.

Jul 20 Hotter.....

It doesn't get any better does it?

An early 3 mile plod this morning plus 2 x 1.5 miles walking to and from meetings.

Another 2 days here before a brief trip home.
